Final task - 5 photographs of your choice

For this task I decided to use the cellophane from the previous task and experiment with the concept. The colours produced by the cellophane gave this soft whimsical glow to each photograph, which reminded me of fairies and magical fantasy lands described in children's books. So, playing with this idea I started taking pictures of grass, soil and snail shells. Then I found some shards of glass on the floor which I then used to add another reflective surface to the arrangement of objects. Once I had taken photographs from different angles, I used Adobe Lightroom to adjust the exposure and the saturation of the photographs. Each image being unique and abstract, focusing more on texture than subject and form. I was happy with the results, but if I were to develop this further, I would like to experiment with digital art and altering it with the appropriate software to enhance the otherworldliness aspect of it.
